Mehves CETINKAYA SENDAS

Dr. Mehves CETINKAYA SENDAS is a Senior Lecturer in the Design & Built Environment department at the University of Canberra, within the Faculty of Arts and Design. Her expertise spans design innovation, brand management, and design management, with a focus on leveraging design for business success. She holds a PhD in Industrial Product Design from Istanbul Technical University (2014), a Master of Arts in Visual Communication from Sabanci University (2008), and a Bachelor of Science from Istanbul Technical University (2006).

Her research explores design pedagogy, usability testing in industrial design, and the evolution of design thinking. Recent work includes applying virtual flipped classrooms in design education and addressing challenges in usability testing during the pandemic. She contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through education-focused initiatives.
