Dr. Mehran Davatagri is a Research Fellow at the University of Memphis's Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering. He holds both an MS and PhD in Geophysics-Seismology from the University of Tehran.
His research focuses on engineering seismology, including ergodic/non-ergodic ground motion modeling, site response analysis, site-specific seismic hazard assessment, spectral analysis of strong-motion records, and high-frequency ground motion attenuation. His work bridges geophysics and civil engineering disciplines.
