Prof. Dr. Mehmet Serhat YILMAZ is a distinguished historian specializing in the history of the Republic of Turkey and Atatürk's revolutions. He currently serves as Professor at the Department of History within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kastamonu University, where he also holds the position of Dean. His academic career spans over three decades, with significant contributions to Turkish historical studies, particularly focusing on the National Struggle period and regional history of Kastamonu.
