Mehmet Sayar

Mehmet Sayar, a Lecturer at Koc University's College of Engineering, holds dual appointments in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. His research focuses on protein/peptide misfolding in degenerative diseases, coarse-grained molecular dynamics modeling, biopolymer physics, self-assembled materials, and computational materials science. He earned his PhD from Northwestern University (2003), MSc from the University of Illinois (1999), and BS from Boğaziçi University (1996).
