Mehmet Mahmut is an Associate Professor in the School of Psychological Sciences at Macquarie University and co-director of the Food, Flavour and Fragrance lab. He holds a PhD from Macquarie University (2008) and has transitioned from market consultancy to academia, contributing to post-doctoral and academic roles at the same institution. He teaches Introduction to Psychology I, the largest cohort course, and delivers guest lectures on topics such as The Psychology of Human Relationships and Visual Perception applications.
