Mehmet Akar is a full-time Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Boğaziçi University. His research focuses on control systems, networked control systems, multi-agent coordination, wireless communication, and optimization algorithms. He has contributed extensively to the fields of distributed consensus protocols, resilient networks, and resource allocation in heterogeneous systems.
