Megan Steele

Megan Steele is an Adjunct Professor of Nursing at Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU), currently pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2012) from Panhandle State and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Northeastern State University. She is also a part-time nurse at her children’s school and actively engaged in community and political advocacy.

Her teaching philosophy emphasizes high academic standards balanced with empathy for students’ life circumstances, a principle she developed during her own education at OPSU. She credits her professors’ dedication as a key motivator for her career in nursing education.
