Megan Sherod

Megan Sherod is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Florida (UCF). She serves as Associate Chair for Academic Programming.

Her research focuses on neurological rehabilitation, cognitive psychology, and interdisciplinary applications of community engagement. Key areas include traumatic brain injury recovery, chronic pain management, and disability studies through arts-based interventions.

Recent publications highlight her work on acoustic neuroma/vestibular schwannoma's emotional impact, multimodal therapies for cognitive sequelae post-TBI, and adaptive community theatre projects. These span neurology, pain management, and social inclusion disciplines.

Office hours are held Tuesday from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM via Zoom or in person by appointment.
