Megan Schwarzman

Megan Schwarzman is a physician and environmental health scientist at UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health, with a focus on endocrine-disrupting chemicals, reproductive health, and chemicals policy. She serves as Associate Director of Health and Environment at the Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry, an interdisciplinary collaboration spanning multiple colleges and schools.

Her research integrates green chemistry and policy analysis, particularly examining EU and California regulatory frameworks. Schwarzman has served on California EPA’s Green Ribbon Science Panel (2009–present) and chaired the Scientific Guidance Panel for California’s biomonitoring program.
