Megan Lynn Llamas

Megan Lynn Llamas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Respiratory Care at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She teaches Pulmonary Function Testing, Management and Leadership in Health Professions, Board prep for BSRC and MSRC students, and online courses for degree advancement.

• Education: Bachelors in Respiratory Care (2013) from UT Health San Antonio, Masters in Healthcare Administration (2017) from the University of Incarnate Word.
• Professional Roles: Pulmonary Fellow Education Director under Dr. Peters, President of the Southern Region of TSRC, member of the CHEST interprofessional Team NetWork steering committee, and member of the CHEST Mechanical Ventilation Simulation Team.

Her research interests align with her teaching and clinical expertise in respiratory care, critical care, and healthcare leadership. Megan has extensive experience in burn, adult, pediatric, and neonatal intensive care units, contributing to both clinical service and education.
