Dr. Megan Farquhar is a Lecturer at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She holds a PhD in Cardiac Modelling with Fractional Calculus from QUT (2018). Her research focuses on applied mathematics, numerical methods, and computational modeling in biomedical contexts, particularly in cardiac physiology and tissue engineering. She specializes in GPU-accelerated algorithms, fractional calculus applications, and modeling cardiac fibrosis/ischaemia using advanced computational techniques.
