Megan Boysen Osborn

Megan Boysen Osborn, MD, MHPE is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. She holds multiple leadership positions including Senior Associate Dean for Students, Vice Chair of Education, and Co-Director of the Multimedia Design and Educational Technologies Fellowship. She earned her medical degree from UC Irvine (2007), a Bachelor's in Chemistry from the University of San Diego (2002), and a Master's in Health Professions Education from the University of Illinois, Chicago (2015).

Her research focuses on innovative approaches to medical education, residency admissions, and clinical emergency management. Key areas include: neuro-ophthalmologic emergencies, hematologic/oncologic crises, cardiac emergencies, and educational technology integration. Her work emphasizes team-based learning, curriculum development, and equity in medical training.
