Megan Arnott

Megan Arnott is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Lakehead University, where she has taught since January 2018. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Western Michigan University and additional advanced degrees in History and English from the University of Western Ontario, University of Nottingham, and Lakehead University.

Her research focuses on:

• Medieval literatures and pre-modern literatures
• Medievalisms and composition pedagogy
• Norse/Viking literature and historiography
• Political texts and politics in literature

Megan currently teaches literature and composition courses in English, blending historical and literary analysis with contemporary educational practices.

She is available for appointments on Wednesdays (12:00–4:00 pm) at her office on the 3rd floor of Simcoe Hall, Lakehead University, or via virtual meeting upon request.
