Megan A. Mullins

Megan A. Mullins, PhD, MPH joined the faculty in April 2022. She holds dual degrees in Epidemiologic Sciences from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, where she completed post-doctoral training.

• Education: PhD and MPH in Epidemiologic Sciences from the University of Michigan School of Public Health

Her research focuses on improving cancer care quality and equity for high-risk populations, including older adults with cognitive impairment, racial/ethnic minorities, and sexual/gender minorities. Key areas include goal concordant care, palliative care, and health disparities.

Dr. Mullins is the Principal Investigator of a national pilot study funded by NRG Oncology to address barriers in sexual orientation and gender identity data collection within the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP).

Her expertise spans mixed-methods care delivery research, analysis of large population-based datasets, in-depth interviewing, patient/provider surveys, and implementation science.
