Meerten Versluis

Meerten Versluis is a Research Fellow at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), affiliated with the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Electromagnetics Antenna Systems Lab. He obtained his BSc (2017) and MSc (2019) in Electrical Engineering from TU/e, specializing in antenna systems and RF technology.

His research focuses on co-designing mmWave amplifiers and antennas for sustainable beyond-5G/6G mobile communications. Key areas include:

• Millimeter-wave outphasing techniques
• Antenna-in-package integration
• Focal plane array reconfigurability
• Energy-efficient RF frontends

This work addresses challenges in communication bandwidth, signal reliability, and energy sustainability.

His recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on mmWave antenna systems, particularly exploring beam reconfigurability, radiated spectrum optimization, and antenna-in-package solutions for next-generation networks. The research consistently intersects electromagnetic theory, RF hardware design, and wireless infrastructure innovation.

He contributes to the INNOSTAR project (2022-2025) as a team member, developing advanced electromagnetic systems. As part of the EM Antenna Systems Lab, he collaborates on cutting-edge RF technologies and antenna design methodologies.
