Meera Appaswamy

Meera Appaswamy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is affiliated with the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Institute.

• Education: M.B.B.S from Bangalore Medical College (1983–1990)
• Training: Ph.D. in Pathology (University of Pittsburgh, 1992–1994), Anesthesiology Residency (Mercy Hospital/University of Pittsburgh, 1998–2001), Pain Management (2001–2002) and Pediatric Anesthesia (2002–2003) Fellowships at University of Pittsburgh
• Experience: Senior House Officer at Chinmaya Mission Hospital (1990–1992)
