Medhanie Gaim serves as Associate Professor of Organisation and Management at Oslo Business School, Oslo Metropolitan University, within the Faculty of Social Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from Umeå School of Business and Economics and completed visiting research at Stanford University.
His educational credentials include doctoral training at Umeå School of Business and Economics (USBE), complemented by the prestigious Wallander Postdoctoral Fellowship from Handelsbanken.
Gaim's research examines organizational paradoxes, early-stage venture formation, and collaboration dynamics between startups and corporations. His work investigates tension management in innovative ecosystems, with publications spanning theoretical frameworks in Academy of Management Review and practical applications in Harvard Business Review. Key contributions include co-authoring 'Organizational Paradox: Theory and Practice' (Sage) and 'Designing Organizations' (Edward Elgar).
