Meadhbh Campbell is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Musicianship and Academic Studies at the Cork School of Music, Munster Technological University. A conductor and educator from Cork, Ireland, she lectures in musicianship across conservatoire and degree levels with specialization in choral conducting.
Her educational background includes:
- Masters in Kodály Music Pedagogy (choral conducting specialization) from Kodály Institute of the Liszt Academy, Hungary
- Advanced Diploma in Kodály Pedagogy
- Initial training at MTU Cork School of Music
- ATCL Diploma in cello performance
- Colleague of the Royal College of Organists
Her research centers on music literacy development, sight-singing pedagogy, and the integration of singing-based learning in instrumental instruction. Campbell actively implements these principles through choir work across Cork and previously taught piano and cello in schools through both English and Irish language mediums. She was selected for the National Concert Hall Female Conductor Programme (2019-2021) under mentors Alice Farnham, David Brophy, and Robert Houlihan.
