Md. Mostafizur Rahman

Md. Mostafizur Rahman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. His academic work focuses on leveraging Geoinformatics for urban environmental planning and sustainable development, with a particular emphasis on nature-based solutions to urban challenges.

• Education: PhD in Earth Science (Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics) from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (2022); Master’s (2015) and Bachelor’s (2009) in Urban and Regional Planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
• Teaching Experience: Lecturer (2015–2017), Assistant Professor (2017–2024), and Associate Professor (2024–present) at RUET.
