Md Morshed Alam

Dr. Md Morshed Alam is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering, Swinburne University of Technology. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Swinburne and a B.Sc. from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His research focuses on energy-efficient building materials, smart energy management, and thermal storage solutions. He has led projects on phase change materials (PCMs), net-zero energy buildings, and BIM integration. Notable awards include the 2018 Industry Translation Research Commendation and 2022 Vice-Chancellor's Engaged Award. He teaches sustainable construction and has advised numerous PhD students on topics like PCM applications and building energy retrofitting.
