Małgorzata Zaleska

Professor Małgorzata Zaleska currently serves as the Director of the Institute of Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and President of the Committee on Financial Sciences at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Her expertise spans financial systems, banking supervision, and economic policy.

Research Focus: Financial safety nets, central bank operations, prudential supervision frameworks, deposit insurance mechanisms, and banking union developments.
