Małgorzata Matyja

Dr. Eng. Małgorzata Matyja is a Professor at Wrocław University of Economics (UEW) and serves as Deputy Manager of the Management Department within the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship. Her research focuses on management functions, leadership, cooperatives, and organizational hierarchies, with a particular emphasis on social enterprises, agricultural cooperatives, and the interplay between reporting relationships and organizational structure.

Her work spans empirical studies on modernization in agricultural cooperatives, financial performance analysis, and the socio-economic roles of cooperatives in Poland and beyond. She has authored over 50 publications, with recent focus areas including eco-friendly market trends, dualistic command structures in organizations, and the impact of organizational culture on agricultural cooperatives.
