Małgorzata Kijowska-Strugała is an Associate Professor and Head of the Szymbark Research Station at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization Polish Academy of Sciences (IGiPZ PAN). She has been affiliated with IGiPZ PAN since 2008. Her academic career includes a PhD in Earth Sciences (2013) and a habilitation (2019) in physical geography. She became an Associate Professor in 2020.

- 2018-2021 Ministry of Science and Higher Education scholarship for outstanding young scientists
Leadership and Infrastructure: Oversees the Szymbark Research Station, a key facility for environmental and geoscientific research in Poland. Her role includes coordinating interdisciplinary projects and maintaining long-term ecological monitoring programs.
