Mazaher Kianpour

Mazaher Kianpour is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Information Security and Communication Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. Their research focuses on cybersecurity economics, regulations, risk management, and human/organizational aspects of information security.

Key publications include analyses of cybersecurity as a public good, AI applications in security economics, and regulatory impacts. They contribute to the eHealth and System Security Group (HS2G) and collaborate on gamification for security training. Current work explores EU’s NIS2 directive and institutional design for cyber incident management.
