Mayumi Hoshi serves as an Associate Lecturer in the Department of East Asian Studies within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. She specializes in Japanese language pedagogy, currently teaching JAPAN 101 (Basic Japanese I) for the Fall Term 2025 and multiple previous terms since Fall 2020.
