Professor Mayowa Babalola holds the Stan Perron Chair in Business Ethics at the UWA Business School, University of Western Australia. He earned his PhD in Psychology from KU Leuven, Belgium, and has global academic and industry experience across Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North America.
His research focuses on leadership ethics, work-family dynamics, and AI integration in leadership. Key contributions include studies on abusive supervision prevention, earning the 2019 Best Paper Award at the Academy of Management. He serves as Associate Editor for Journal of Business Ethics and Human Relations, and Editorial Board Member at Journal of Management.
Recent articles explore mortality cues in leadership behavior, corporate ethics in Nigerian banking, and nurse work passion dynamics. His work intersects with UN SDGs related to quality education and decent work. Mentoring junior scholars and leading global research projects further highlight his academic leadership.
