Mayada Ismail, MD, ABOM serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Temple University. She practices at multiple Temple Health facilities including Temple Digestive Disease Center, Chestnut Hill Hospital, and Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
Her clinical expertise spans Gastroenterology, Colon Cancer Screening, Obesity Management, Endobariatrics, Artificial Intelligence applications in medicine, and Women's Health. Her research focuses on Obesity and AI integration in clinical practice.
Dr. Ismail holds board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine (Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology) and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Her training includes a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University, Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, and MD from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies.
