May-Britt Stumbaum

May-Britt Stumbaum is a Visiting Professor affiliated with the Graduate School of East Asian Studies (GEAS) at Freie Universität Berlin. She served as a GEAS Visiting Fellow from January to July 2016 and is currently involved in the Einstein Project East Asia Security. Her research focuses on processes of transfer and diffusion in European foreign and security policy toward Asia, particularly India and China, as well as deviating perceptions in EU-Asian relations and dual-use technology transfer.

Her work examines security policy dynamics, including the geopolitical implications of technology transfer and the evolving nature of EU-Asia relations. She contributes to interdisciplinary discussions on global security frameworks and policy-making in Asia.
