May Britt Postholm

May Britt Postholm is a Professor of Pedagogy and Qualitative Research Methodology at the Department of Teacher Education, NTNU. With a background in secondary school teaching and extensive experience in educational research, she focuses on school-based development, teacher education, and the application of Cultural-Historical Activity Theory (CHAT). Her work emphasizes collaborative research initiatives, such as the LAB-TEd project funded by the Norwegian Research Council, and explores formative interventions and reflective practices in educational settings.

Postholm holds a teacher education background and has conducted advanced methodological training at Stanford University.
