Maxime Lemmens is a researcher at the Institute of Landscape Ecology within the University of Münster. His work focuses on carbon and nutrient dynamics in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, with a particular emphasis on peatlands and shallow lakes.
- Current research projects include:
- Redox-induced mobilization of dissolved organic carbon (ReDOCs)
- Moor restoration and carbon dynamics (ReVersal)
- Silicon and carbon turnover in peatlands
- Peatland resilience from microform patterns (SPURT)
