Professor Max Shen serves as Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) at The University of Hong Kong, where he oversees research initiatives and strategic academic leadership. He is actively engaged in institutional governance and academic collaboration, as evidenced by his membership in the U21 Research Collaboration Group and Research Leaders' Group, as well as his role as a Dean & Director of Graduate Studies (DDoGs) in the U21 network.
