Max Philipp Wehn is a Researcher at Philipps University of Marburg, associated with the Integrated Graduate School. He has been actively involved in the research project Mediale Konstruktionen von Frieden 1710–1721 since May 2017.
Education
- MA in History of International Politics at Philipps University of Marburg (Winter term 2014/15 – Winter term 2016/17)
- Baccalaureus Artium in History and Cultural Studies at Justus Liebig University Giessen (October 2014)
Research Interests center on early modern political communication, media constructions of peace, and the interplay between historical security dynamics and future-oriented political discourse, as explored in his work on Thomas More’s Utopia (2016) and the period 1710–1721.
Scientific Awards
- DAAD-Go-East Scholarship (February–July 2013) for a semester abroad at the State University of Minsk.
Advising and Grants include participation in the CRC 138 Dynamics of Security as a student assistant (November 2015 – April 2017) and current involvement in the peace construction project.
Professional Activities encompass cooperation with Dr. Angela Marciniak and prior roles such as a student assistant at the Chair of Early Modern Studies II (Justus Liebig University Giessen, May–December 2012) and internships at Deutsche Bank AG (2014) and the Political Archive of the Federal Foreign Office (2013).
