Max Anton Wosnitza is a PhD candidate and researcher at the Department of Economics, University of Oslo, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences. His research focuses on Political Economy, Environmental Economics, State Capacity Building, Public Policy, Climate Change, and Risk Cooperation.

He has taught undergraduate courses such as ECON2920 – Environmental and Natural Resource Economics (Spring 2021), ECON4245 – Corporate Governance (Fall 2020), and ECON4910/ECON4915 – Environmental Economics and Development Economics (Spring 2021), collaboratively with Professors Christian Traeger and Bård Harstad. Wosnitza is a member of the Oslo Environment and Climate Policy (Oslo ECP) research group, where his work explores intersections of political economy and environmental policy under state capacity constraints.
