Max Allen

Max Allen was a Professor at Manchester University, North Manchester, Indiana. He is best known for writing the article "Art and the Church", which explores intersections between artistic expression and religious tradition. His work was highlighted in the Archives and Brethren Historical Collection, with references to the Manchester College Bulletin (February 1949, 1950, August 1953, July 1978) and a recital commemorating his 50th anniversary at the college.
