Maurice B Dusseault

Maurice B Dusseault is a Professor of Geological Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada. He previously held a Research Professor Chair at the University of Alberta (1977–1982) funded by the Alberta Oil Sands Technology and Research Authority. From 1982–2000, he led the Geological Engineering Program and directed the Porous Media Research Institute. His research focuses on petroleum geomechanics, including drilling, hydraulic fracturing, reservoir geomechanics, and deep waste sequestration. He has authored/co-authored over 470 conference/journal articles and two textbooks.
