Maureen A. Coyle is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Widener University, specializing in applied social psychology. Her research focuses on how media and technology influence interpersonal and romantic relationships, particularly through computer-mediated communication, online dating dynamics, and emoji usage in text conversations. She holds a PhD from the Graduate Center, CUNY (2022), and has published widely on topics like ghosting, perceived responsiveness in messaging, and touch behavior in relationships.
