Maura Mattalia

Maura Mattalia serves as an External Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at the Polytechnic University of Turin, affiliated with the Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP). Her current teaching responsibilities include the Administrative Law Module in the Master of Science program for Knowledge and Active Protection of Heritage (Architecture for Heritage track) and the Bachelor of Science program for Territorial, Urban, and Landscape-Environmental Planning.

Her research and teaching expertise spans legal and planning frameworks for cultural heritage and land systems, with increasing integration of data-driven methodologies:

• Administrative Law applications in heritage conservation
• Land management systems and institutional frameworks
• Urban and landscape-environmental planning strategies
• Data science approaches to public administration challenges

She actively contributes to doctoral education through the PhD program Resources for the New PA: People and Data at the University of Milan-Bicocca (2024/25 cycle) and previously taught in the Modeling and Data Science program at the University of Turin (2017/18 cycle).
