Professor Mattias Wendel is a distinguished scholar of Public Law, currently serving as Professor of Public Law, European and International Law, Migration Law and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law of Leipzig University since 2020. He has accepted a professorship at the University of Hamburg effective October 1, 2025.
