Matthias Volk is an Assistant Professor in the Formal System Analysis group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on improving the safety and reliability of complex systems through formal methods, particularly probabilistic model checking. He develops automated techniques for system modeling and analysis, with a focus on industrial applications. He is a core developer of the Storm model checker.
