Dr. Matthias Mangold is a Senior Researcher in Historical Theology at the Institute of Post-Reformation Studies (IPRS) within the Evangelical Theological Faculty (ETF) Leuven, Belgium. His work focuses on early modern theological and philosophical currents in the Dutch Republic, particularly the intersection of Reformed orthodoxy, Cartesianism, and the reception of figures like Spinoza and Cocceius.
