Matthias Maischak

Dr Matthias Maischak is a Reader in the Department of Mathematics at Brunel University London within the College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences. His research focuses on elliptic boundary value problems, transmission problems, Signorini problems, and variational inequalities, with emphasis on boundary and finite element methods, fast solvers, and adaptive algorithms. He is also a key developer of the MaiProgs software package, which implements advanced numerical techniques for engineering applications.
