Matthias Kramm

Dr. Matthias Kramm is a temporary Academic Council member ("Akademischer Rat auf Zeit") at the Chair of Ethics, Theory and History of Biosciences, part of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Tübingen since October 2024. His research spans interdisciplinary ethics, philosophy, and global development contexts.

His research focuses on:

• Deliberative evaluation of cultural traditions in global contexts
• Non-Western philosophical frameworks
• Pragmatist approaches to ethics
• Capability Approach theory

He has participated in key research groups including the "Knowledge, Technology, and Innovation" (KTI) group and the GEOS project at Wageningen University. Current affiliations include the Ethics Institute at University of Tübingen.
