Matthew Yarnold

Matthew Yarnold is an Associate Professor and Director of the Advanced Structural Engineering Laboratory (ASEL) at Auburn University's College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and M.S./B.S. degrees from Lehigh University. With over 21 years of experience, his career spans academia and industry, including roles at Tennessee Tech University and Texas A&M University. His research focuses on bridge engineering, structural steel behavior, and large-scale testing.
