Matthew Turk is the President of the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) and a Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). He holds dual appointments in Computer Science and the Media Arts and Technology Program at UCSB. His research focuses on computer vision, human-computer interaction, augmented reality, and AI ethics. He earned a BS from Virginia Tech, MS from Carnegie Mellon University, and PhD from MIT.
