Matthew Sullivan is a Lecturer and Research Group Leader in Molecular Microbiology at the School of Biological Sciences, University of East Anglia (UEA). His research focuses on understanding how pathogenic bacteria adapt to environmental changes, particularly in human infections, and their roles in global climate regulation through nitrogen and sulphur cycling. Key interests include Group B Streptococcus virulence mechanisms, DMSP metabolism, and nitrous oxide production.
