Matthew Romney

Matthew Romney lectures in mathematics at Stevens Institute of Technology's Schaefer School of Engineering. His research explores geometric structures in metric spaces through analytic methods. He holds a PhD from University of Illinois and postdoctoral experience at Stony Brook University.

Current NSF-funded work develops uniformization techniques for non-Euclidean surfaces. Romney received the Wolfgang Haken Prize for his doctoral contributions to quasiconformal geometry.
