Matthew Peter Dattwyler

Matthew Peter Dattwyler is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. His work focuses on Emergency/Trauma Radiology, with expertise in diagnostic imaging techniques such as MRI.

• Education includes a BA in History from Dartmouth College (1997-2001), a post-baccalaureate from Harvard Extension School (2003-2005), and an MD from New York Medical College (2006-2010).
• Completed internship in Internal Medicine (2010-2011), radiology residency (2011-2015), and fellowship in Emergency Radiology (2015-2016).

His research explores applications of radiology in trauma settings and gastrointestinal emergencies, with publications in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Clinics and Oncogene. Awards include the Robert C. Byrd Scholarship and Alpha Omega Alpha membership.
