Matthew Manwarren is Professor of Music at Winthrop University's College of Visual and Performing Arts. A concert pianist and educator, he holds performance degrees from Texas Tech University (B.M.) and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (M.M., D.M.A.). His artistic work focuses on piano performance, collaborative arts, and contemporary composition.
Manwarren has performed internationally, including at Weill Recital Hall and Behre Piano Associates in New York. He serves as Artistic/Executive Director of the Adamant Music School and has received a Fulbright Teaching Grant. His recordings include 'Youthful Passion and Fantasy' featuring Schumann and Brahms. Manwarren is active in pedagogical outreach through masterclasses for teacher organizations nationwide.
