Matthew Lew is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Systems Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis’s McKelvey School of Engineering. He leads the Lew Lab, focusing on developing advanced nanoscale imaging technologies to study biological and chemical systems. His work integrates applied optics, quantum detection theory, and physical chemistry to create high-resolution imaging systems.
