Dr. Matthew Ingram holds dual roles as a Principal Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences and as the Associate Dean (Academic Operations) in the School of Applied Sciences at the University of Brighton. He graduated with a degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Leeds University and a PhD in Nitroxylated Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs.
Teaching Approach: Ingram emphasizes interactive teaching methods using PowerPoint slides, video mini-lectures, and traditional techniques. He teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, focusing on Pharmaceutical Sciences, data analysis, and drug delivery.
Research Interests: His work centers on enhancing therapeutic agents via prodrug development, in-vitro modeling, and drug delivery systems. He also explores machine learning applications in drug design and innovative e-learning tools.
